After vowing not to say Donald Trump’s name, Salma Hayek took another shot at the presidential candidate because she thinks he’s using immigrants as a political tool to get votes.
“Immigrants are an important force of work in the United States – anybody that’s informed knows this,” Hayek said during her “Good Morning America” interview. “They [sic] use the issue to polarize to get votes.”
“According to The Washington Post, at least in his first hotel that he built — he was using more than 200 illegal immigrants…that they were getting paid five dollars or something like this — a day.”
Earlier this week, the Mexican-born actress said she wasn’t offended by Trump’s immigration comments because she “cannot be insulted by stupidity.”
“Everybody’s entitled to have uninformed opinion. Everybody’s entitled to be dumb. But I’m not dumb, so I see through the manipulation. We have something to learn from this.” (VIDEO: Salma Hayek Refuses To Say Donald Trump’s Name)
