When asked if he was going to get back to comedy soon, Tracy Morgan said he “never left.”

Morgan has made few public appearances since his June 2014 car wreck when a Wal-Mart tractor-trailer struck the limousine van he was in, killing his friend James McNair and severely injuring several others.

But Morgan has been spotted out twice this week now.

The comedian, who said he doesn’t remember the accident, sat front row with his daughter Maven at the Yankees game Tuesday night, then was seen out in New York Thursday.(VIDEO: Tracy Morgan Makes Rare Public Appearance At Yankees Game)

The 46-year-old drew a large crowd as he got out of his Lamborghini. A videographer asked if he was “getting back to comedy soon.”

“I never left,” Morgan quickly replied. (RELATED: In Tearful 1st Interview Since Crash, Tracy Morgan Remembers His Slain Friend)
