It’s weird that the following item isn’t bigger news. Usually, anything involving the Tuskegee Airmen is given the proper attention. And anything involving black victims of crime in the St. Louis area is given even more attention.

Rebecca Roberts, KTVI:

A 93-year-old Tuskegee Airman had his car stolen and was robbed in two separate incidents on Sunday night…

Police say the victim got lost while driving to his daughter’s home Sunday at around 11:30am. The 93-year-old man pulled over to call his daughter. A man approached and entered the victim’s vehicle. The suspect took cash from the victim’s pant pocket. Then the suspect then got into another vehicle and left the scene…

The victim drove to the intersection of Walton and Page. The elderly man got out of his car and asked two black males for help. They got into his car and drove away.

The victim was driving a Maroon 2012 Honda Accord Sedan with Missouri license plate: AA2K8R.

It’s obvious what’s to blame here: white supremacy. If white people don’t care about the lives of black veterans, how can they expect anybody else to care? These downtrodden young black men are merely playing out the roles you’ve consigned to them, white America. Nice job once again.

That’s all I’ll say about this, because Ta-Nehisi Coates hasn’t tweeted about it yet and I don’t want to risk contradicting him.
