Hillary Clinton‘s 2008 campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle is so flummoxed by her former boss’s email scandal that she’s getting her days all mixed up.
Doyle appeared on CNN’s “New Day” Tuesday around 6:45 a.m.
Except that isn’t the day she thought it was.
Co-host Chris Cuomo was really pressing Doyle on Clinton’s email server woes and the new findings of classified documents.
“This has been handled lousy by them,” pushed Cuomo, adding that even Vice President Joe Biden is doing well in the polls despite not yet entering the race. “Don’t you see the handling of this as something she needs to clean up immediately?”
Solis agreed, but must have misplaced her calendar. That, or the green room ran out of coffee.
“Look, I agree,” she said. “Here we are on this hot Monday morning talking about Hillary’s emails as opposed to talking about this expansive policy agenda she has given out.”
Graciously, none of the CNN hosts corrected her.
During the 2008 presidential campaign, Doyle was replaced with Maggie Williams. But she’s still has close ties to Clinton.
By the way, today is Tuesday.
