Vitalia Diatchenko was absolutely overmatched on Monday.
The 25-year-old Russian was forced to go up against top overall seed Serena Williams in the first round of the 2015 U.S. Open, and lost the first eight games before withdrawing from injury.
Still, Diatchenko drew a minor victory from the 6-0, 2-0 blowout and proved to the world she’s hotter than the clouds above Chernobyl.
