Ellen Pompeo has played a doctor for eleven seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy,” and now the actress is stripping down for her role as Entertainment Weekly’s cover girl.
Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey on the medical drama, wears nothing underneath her white doctor’s coat in the September issue of the magazine.

In her interview, Pompeo talked about what it was like when director Shonda Rhimes killed off her character’s love interest, played by Patrick Dempsey.
“All of a sudden, Patrick [Dempsey] leaves, and it’s like, Oh my God, Meredith’s gonna get killed with Alzheimer’s!” Pompeo said. “The show couldn’t possibly go on without the man!” (RELATED: We Get It, Kim Kardashian. You Have Breasts.)
