God, help us.

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” is adding an hour to its show, making it a whopping four hours long, according to a report from Mediaite‘s Joe Concha.

Will HuffPost‘s Sam Stein and the gang of “Morning Joe” regulars be able to handle an extra hour of ribbing?  Will Mika and Joe kill each other? How much more WaPo‘s Eugene Robinson can we take?

On the bright side: This means José Diaz Balart’s tedious show is out. Adios, amigo.

In is NBC News’s Kate Snow, who will assume the 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. slot.

Some things will stay the same: Andrea Mitchell will stay in her 12 noon spot. Thomas Roberts will stick to 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

On the chopping block, says the report, is Chris Hayes‘ faltering 8 p.m. slot, which the piece hints may go to Willie Geist.
