Donald Trump is expected to sign the pledge to run as a Republican, thus thwarting a possible third party run.
Politico is reporting that Thursday, Trump will sign a pledge to endorse the eventual Republican nominee.
Trump has held off announcing that he would support the eventual GOP nominee because he has said that he wanted to keep his options open and that he wanted to have leverage and negotiating ability.
Trump has long said that if he is treated “well” and “fairly,” he would run as, or support the Republican candidate.
