Apple announced a big update to the iPhone Wednesday in San Francisco, introducing the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
The new phones will come in Rose Gold, Silver, Space Gray, and Gold.
A new 3D Touch screen was announced that will be able to interpret the amount of pressure applied to the screen differentiating amongst a tap, a press and a deeper press. (RELATED: Apple Just Unveiled A Monster New iPad)
The new iPhones will be running on an A9, 3rd-generation 64bit chip. The processor is 70 percent faster than the A8 chip and has 90 percent faster graphics.
Siri also improved with a new “Always-on” Hey Siri capability as well as improvements in Touch ID for the new iPhone will be twice as fast compared to the previous version. (RELATED: Finally! A New Apple TV)
Preorders start September 12th and they will begin shipping on September 25th.
