The New York Times failed to reference anything about the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on its front page, a CBS journalist pointed out Friday.
On the 14 year anniversary of 9/11, the paper instead opted to feature stories about the Iran deal, human fossils and the Republican presidential debate, among other issues. There is not a single word about the terrorist attack anywhere to be seen.
The omission of the terrorist attack, which killed almost 3,000 people, is particularly surprising because New York suffered more casualties than any other region of the country.
