Bobbi Kristina Brown died in July, several months after she was found face down and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Atlanta home, and now her father is saying he could have prevented her death.

“If I could have been there two days before, it wouldn’t have went down like that,” Brown said during an interview with “The Real” that airs Monday.

“We prayed and hoped for six months, you know, for something better to happen,” he said. “But when God calls you, he calls you.” (RELATED: Bobby Brown Breaks His Silence: ‘Our Loss Is Unimaginable’)

“I’m pretty sure her mother was. … had a part with like, ‘Come on, let’s get her up here,’” he said. “[Houston] was not comfortable by herself, I guess. She just called my daughter with her.”

Brown wore a necklace with a photo of him and Bobbi Kristina during the interview. (RELATED: Nick Gordon Begs Bobby Brown: ‘Please Let Me Come To Your Daughter’s Funeral’)
