A high school band teacher in Ohio has resigned in response to revelations that she moonlights as an Internet porn star.
The teacher, Kristin Sundman, had been assistant band director at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio, according to Cleveland Fox affiliate WJW.
Sundman, 31, looks to have appeared on X-rated websites engaged in all manner sexually-explicit acts with other women and also by herself, in the shower.
Official at Kent Roosevelt placed Sundman on paid administrative leave on Tuesday of last week after an unidentified web user identified her as an amateur porn thespian.
Sundman then resigned over the weekend.
“We received a resignation, and that is effective immediately,” school district superintendent George Joseph said, according to the Record-Courier, a local newspaper. “With that resignation, our investigation of the matter is closed, as she is no longer our employee.”
Joseph had told WJW that he and his staff were conducting a crack investigation which included “checking all sources.” “We want to make sure that our students are safe,” he said.
The superintendent added that he had not previously suspected that Sundman was a porn star.
Sundman’s Twitter account, @melodyXXXtune, appears to have been deactivated.
A Google search for @melodyXXXtune suggests that the account was not remotely safe for band class — or band camp or work. (It had been private during its existence.)
A (NSFW) search for Twitter mentions of @melodyXXXtune suggests that Sundman has appeared on ItsCleoLive.com, a porn site full of “kinky hardcore vids and pics.” “Hi! I am Cleo!” the website’s introduction enthuses the website’s introduction. “You probably know me as one of the better known cam girls on the net. Welcome!”

On Monday afternoon, Pornhub removed its melodyXXXtune videos “at the request of the copyright owner.”
The report by Fox affiliate WJW suggests that it’s not clear if the explicit videos occurred while Sundman was employed at Roosevelt High.
A March 26, 2015 tweet by Kamer Tv — someone who either produces or really likes porn — reads: “@CleoVids: @ItsCleoLive @vickyvette @melodyxxxtune look who’s coming to town.. See Ya at the airport!! #nicetits.”
Sundman had been the assistant band director at Roosevelt High for eight years prior to her resignation. This year would have been her ninth.
Sundman is not the same person as Kendra Sunderland, a 19-year-old student at Oregon State University — home of the Beavers — who made a lengthy pornographic video in the main OSU library at some point last academic year. The Ohio band teacher is certainly not America’s first teacher to appear in pornography.
Olivia Sprauer, formerly a freshman English teacher, got her 15 minutes of fame when she was featured on the March 2014 cover of Hustler magazine. Inside the magazine, there is a 14-page photo spread of Sprauer showing her junk—under the far sexier model name Victoria V. James. Also in 2014, Cristy Nicole Deweese, a high school Spanish teacher in Dallas, Texas, was fired after students figured out she had once posed gloriously nude as Playboy’s “Coed of the Month.” “That’s my Spanish teacher!!!” reads a representative comment under a YouTube clip featuring DeWeese. In Playboy’s online videos and photos, Deweese goes by the much sexier name, Cristy Nicole. She had just turned 18 when she removed her clothes for the illustrious men’s magazine in February 2011.
