Kevin Spacey’s impression of Jimmy Stewart is so good that it made Carol Burnett cry.
Burnett was a guest on the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Wednesday night, and he surprised the 72-year-old actress, who calls Stewart her “idol.”
“Well, there’s actually somebody here tonight, and you are his idol,” Colbert told Burnett. “And it’s the actor Kevin Spacey, and he would like to come out and say, ‘Hi.'”
Spacey then did his best Stewart impression. The beloved actor died in 1997 when he was 89 years old.
