Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers told the media Sunday after his victory over the Seattle Seahawks that God is a Packers fan.
In what is without a doubt a direct shot at Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Rodgers said, “I get it all from God. I think God was a Packers fan tonight so he was taking care of us.”
After beating the Packers in the NFC title game last year Wilson praised God and credited God for the victory.
Rodgers, who claimed that God doesn’t care about football after losing in the NFC title game last year, threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns against the Seahawks’ vaunted defense in the victory.
