I don’t blame Donald Trump for Scott Walker’s implosion. In fact, my latest column at The Week details what really went wrong.
Still, it’s really hard to calculate the impact Trump has had on this race,
and the toll he has taken on various candidates. And what is really
hard to quantify is the support that might have gone to Walker had Trump not run.
I’ll leave you with one big example: In March, Ann Coulter said of the GOP field: “I hate them all, except Scott Walker.” A couple weeks ago, Coulter introduced Donald Trump at a speech. It was in Iowa.
