Fans often bring home made signs onto the “Gameday” set, yet even hosts Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit denounced this “unacceptable” example. (RELATED: ESPN Has No Balls)

The sign also drew significant backlash on Twitter. Writer Emily Wright called the display, “utterly classless and embarrassing.”

“Women already have a hard time in sports — we are bombarded with messages that unless we are sexualized, we are not relevant and could not possibly be knowledgeable in this realm,” Wright told CNN. “So when ESPN shares something degrading to women with several million of its social media followers, it’s an implicit endorsement.”
