The Trump Hotel Collection released a statement Wednesday saying its payment card system had been hacked and customers’ credit card data may have been affected.

Its payment card system was breached between May 19, 2014 and June 2, 2015, and any customers who used a card at one of Trump Hotel’s locations between those dates is being offered one year of complimentary fraud resolution and identity protection services.

“While the independent forensic investigator did not find evidence that information was taken from the Hotel’s systems, it appears that there may have been unauthorized malware access to payment card information as it was inputted into the payment card systems,” according to the statement.

Trump Hotel Collection also “notified the F.B.I. and financial institutions, and engaged an outside forensic expert to conduct an investigation of the incident,” the statement says.

Trump Hotels are confident that it is now safe for customers to use their cards at any of the properties. (RELATED: Trump’s Twitter Account ‘Hacked,’ ‘Currently Being Investigated By The Authorities’)
