Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith is not happy with a former teammate who speared him Thursday night in a game against Pittsburgh Steelers, and told the media that his opponent was going on a hit list, according to CSN Sports.
Steelers safety Mike Mitchell, Smith’s former teammate, knocked the receiver down with a hit that Smith saw as as dirty. In a post-game interview, Smith fired at Mitchell saying, “For the first time in my career, I feel like I’m 36. I got speared in the back by an ex-teammate and I kind of know his character and who he is. After he hit me, he said, ‘How do you like that?’ So, I mean, the best thing I can do without threatening him and saying that I will assault him when I see him is I will say I look forward to playing him again and he’s on my lifetime hit list.”
