The new Oregon Ducks uniforms will include a number of motifs paying respects to the famous American explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, with a silhouette decal of the two explorers on the helmet, paired with gray jerseys that resemble a vintage map, the university announced Monday.

According to Nike, each jersey contains a depiction of a map that the explorers took through Oregon. Each jersey will contain a different part of the map, meaning no two jerseys are a like.

“We have many discussions with the Oregon athletes, equipment staff and coaches,” Todd Van Horne, creative director for Nike Football said in a statement. “For this inspiring new uniform, we want to celebrate the state and its great founders and innovators.”

The new “pioneers” uniforms are scheduled to debut Saturday when Oregon plays Washington State.
