The San Francisco Police Department released the video from a Sept. 28 home invasion in which the burger had his weapon wrestled away from him by the resident.

The attempted home invasion took place at 8:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of La Playa Street in the Outer Sunset, according to SFGate.

The video shows the resident being attacked in his garage by a man with dreadlocks wearing a gray hoodie. The assailant eventually pulls a gun on the resident, but the resident doesn’t back down, eventually taking the assailant’s weapon from him. After losing his gun the assailant runs away. The police have not yet located the suspect.

According to police the gun was empty, and didn’t even have a magazine in it.

“The victim was lucky — you don’t usually see an outcome like that,” police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi told SFGate.

Manfredi added, “We don’t know why this victim was targeted, or if it was a crime of opportunity. We want to make sure the assailant is taken off the streets. Even if he doesn’t have this gun, he may have another one.”
