The New York Yankees will be without starting pitcher C.C. Sabathia for its 2015 playoff push, as the veteran left-hander checked himself into rehab on Monday.
During the 2015 campaign, the 35-year-old Sabathia was a shell of his former Cy Young-winning self, and he released the following statement about his decision.
