Rob O’Neill — the Navy SEAL who shot Osama bin Laden — has finally broken his silence after ISIS supporters published his home address and called for both his death and the death of his family.
“All soldiers who serve their country assume certain risks. It’s part of the deal,” he told The Daily Caller. “But I am alert, I am vigilant and I take precautions.”
After publicly telling his story in November 2014, O’Neill has become a major target for radical Islamists across the globe, yet personal security threats won’t silence him from speaking out against one of America’s greatest enemies. “My bigger concern is a lack of a clear strategy for containing and or neutralizing ISIS as a national security threat,” notes the former Navy NCO.
On Monday, The Mirror UK ran a piece about “Mrs. Terror” Sally Jones, the British radical claiming to have published O’Neill’s address.
