Fox News anchor Megan Kelly said she overestimated Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s ability to control his anger at Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women summit in Washington, D.C., Monday.

A feud between the prime time host and the outspoken billionaire started after the first GOP debate in August, when Kelly asked him if his past controversial remarks about women are problematic for his electability.

The real estate mogul took offense to the question, later calling her a “bimbo” and  a “highly overrated” journalist.

“It’s clear we may have overestimated his anger-management skills,” she said at the event.

Kelly defended the question, saying as a moderator she was there to ask the tough questions.

“That’s what I get paid to do: anticipate the candidate’s weaknesses and poke ‘em,” said “The Kelly File” anchor. “That’s our job, and it does require a certain amount of fearlessness … But it’s not like I was looking to make an example out of Donald Trump.”

Kelly said she refuses to respond to the Trump’s Twitter attacks and will continue to cover him as she would any other candidate.
