“Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon!” Maybe they meant something else? Ted Cruz just commented on this kind of crap from these “peaceful” activists, so let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin. Kira Lerner, “Think” “Progress”:

“If you look at the Black Lives Matter movement, one of the most disturbing things is more than one of their protests have embraced rabid rhetoric, rabid anti-police language, literally suggesting and embracing and celebrating the murder of police officers,” the Texas senator said. “That is disgraceful.”
B-b-but… BLM is peaceful! If you don’t count all the violent rhetoric, that is. And all the actual violence. Forget about Ferguson. Forget about Baltimore. Wesley is figuratively a reporter.
The BLM supporters committing these crimes are responsible for their own actions, of course. But to say that BLM isn’t egging them on? That’s a lie. Just like “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” was a lie. The whole movement would fall apart if they stopped lying.
It’s too bad Ted Cruz isn’t a Democrat, because criticizing him would be racist.
