Richard Sells, 43, has died from a gunshot wound he suffered Sunday following the Dallas Cowboys game against the New England Patriots.

Sells passed away Wednesday night 8:44 p.m. at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth according to the Star-Telegraph. A family member of Sells said in a Facebook post that Sells would be removed from life support after the relative said he would be nothing “more than a vegetable that lives in a nursing home bed with a respirator and a feeding tube.”

Marvin Rodriguez, 28, was arrested for the shooting and is being held on $200,000 bail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury according to Yahoo. Now that Sells has passed away, it is likely that the charges will be upgraded to murder. (RELATED: Man Shot In The Head During Altercation Outside Cowboys Game [VIDEO])

Sells was engaged and expecting a daughter according to a GoFundMe page which appears to have been taken down.
