Dennis Hof — owner of the brothel where former NBA star Lamar Odom was found unconscious last week — is claiming that someone removed items from Odom’s suite before police arrived on scene.
Hof told Page Six that a man claiming to be Odom’s manager arrived at the “Love Ranch” and demanded to collect his personal items.
Brothel employees allowed the man to remove Odom’s cellphone and other belongings, but another man — one of Odom’s bodyguards — arrived later with no knowledge of who the first man was.
“I don’t know if I got conned,” Hof said of the incident. “I think when this all shakes out, this a shaky motherfucker. I didn’t recognize him. Something was up.”
Odom regained consciousness on Friday. He no longer requires a ventilator to breath and has been able to communicate with estranged-wife Khloe Kardashian and other members of his family. (RELATED: Doctors Say Odom ‘Slowly Making Progress’ After Waking From Coma)
