An unrepentant man in Texas was recorded on camera saying he “doesn’t care” he viciously hit a motorcycle with his car, causing the two riders to crash onto the road.
The unidentified driver veered from his lane and slammed into Eric Sanders and Debra Simpson on Saturday, throwing them off their motorcycle and onto the side of a rural north Texas road, according to WFAA 8.
The whole incident was caught on camera by an additional motorcyclist, and when he questioned why the driver hit the motorcycle, the driver glibly answered “I don’t care.”
Sanders — who was driving the motorcycle — attempted to pass the car before it swerved toward the bike, throwing his girlfriend and him on to the road. Sanders reportedly got a gouge on his elbow from the accident, while Simpson had to be airlifted to the hospital for a broken wrist, according to WFAA 8. The police have not yet tracked down the driver of the vehicle, but are investigating the accident. If he intentionally hit the motorcycle, the car driver could be charged with a felony.
“I’ve seen people pull in front of me all the time, people cut me off all the time,” Sanders told WFAA 8. “Never in my life has anyone tried to hit me.”
