Donald Trump was scheduled to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Tuesday night but canceled last minute because of a political event. Now the late night host is scrambling to find a replacement.

During an interview with Howard Stern Tuesday morning, Kimmel sounded irritated.

“Donald Trump canceled on us last night,” Kimmel said. “It’s unclear [why]. He said he had a political event. I don’t know what happened.”

“We’re delighted needless to say,” Kimmel said sarcastically.

“If you’re going to cancel on a talk show the time to do it is around 8 p.m. the night before. Especially when you travel 3,000 miles.”

Kimmel, who is filming in Brooklyn this week, told Stern they may replace Trump with Tracy Morgan, who was scheduled to be a guest Thursday.

“We may have him on tonight instead.”

Several viewers tweeted that they were excited to see Trump on the show. (VIDEO: Watch Hillary Supporters Get Tricked Into Endorsing Trump)
