Jeremy Renner: ‘Not My Job’ To Help Female Celebrities Negotiate Their Salaries

Jeremy Renner said it’s not his responsibility to help women in Hollywood figure out what their salaries should be.

During an interview with Business Insider, the reporter asked the “Avengers” actor if he would “be willing to negotiate alongside his female co-stars on future projects.”

“That’s not my job,” said Renner. “I don’t know contracts and money and all that sort of stuff.”

Jennifer Lawrence recently penned an essay for Lena Dunham’s newsletter taking responsiblility for making less than men in Hollywood because she “failed to negotiate.”
