Ousted North Carolina police chief Mike Halstead insisted the Black Lives Matter movement is a “terrorist group.” (RELATED: North Carolina Police Chief Forced Out For Calling Black Lives Matter A ‘Terrorist Group’)
“It is a terrorist group if you can march down the streets and you can call for the death of police officers and a race of people,” Halstead said on “Fox & Friends” Friday. “[If] you can make slogans and hold banners that says Black Lives Matter and then you can yell out, ‘Pigs wrapped in bacon and frying in a pan.’ ‘What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want them? Now.'”
“I mean, come on,” he said.
Halstead was forced to retire from his job in September for a post on his personal Facebook calling the Black Lives Matter movement an “American-born terrorist group.”
Halstead explained, “I don’t apologize for calling them a terrorist group, because they are a terrorist group.”
