If there was any doubt in any sane person’s mind about Jared Fogle, the following will erase it. As disgusting as it is, I think it’s important to bear witness. It’s important not to turn a blind eye. When he makes his inevitable rehabilitation tour, we need to remind him who and what he is.
Disgraced Subway pitchman Jared Fogle was caught on secretly recorded audio tapes boasting of his sick attraction to children — and said he wanted to travel “across the world” to fulfill his desires.
“I would fly us clear across the world if we need to. To Thailand or wherever we want to go. If we’re gonna try to get some young kids with us it would be a lot easier,” the married father of two told Rochelle Herman-Walrond, a former Florida journalist who had befriended Fogle so she could expose his sexual abuse of children…
“I had a little boy. It was amazing,” the 38-year-old Fogle said. “It just felt so good. I mean, it felt — it felt so good.”
As if the whole thing isn’t sordid enough, this is being aired on…
Prison will be a learning experience for Fogle. He’ll learn what it’s like to be preyed upon by people who are bigger than he is.
Fogle hasn’t been sentenced yet, but he can get up to 12 and a half years. I hope he gets every second of it, because when he gets out, he’s going to do the same thing all over again. Guys like that don’t change.
