Sen. [crscore]John McCain[/crscore] said that it was “not until Paris” that American public regained the appetite for starting another war in the Middle East against ISIS.

Appearing on Fusion’s “America” with Jorge Ramos on Tuesday, McCain said that in light of what ISIS is doing it has “alerted, I think, the majority of Americans that we need to take action.”

Ramos said, “So actually senator, what you’re saying is that you are in favor of starting another war. I thought there was no appetite in this country to start, for starting another war.”

McCain responded, “I think there was not until Paris, Jorge. I think we are seeing a  significant shift in American public opinion and Paris is just short of the culmination, the slitting the throats of American citizens, burning a Jordanian alive, the terrible abuse of women that ISIS has captured. All these things cumulatively have alerted I think, the majority of Americans that we need to take action.”
