University of Virginia basketball player Darius Thompson absolutely destroyed a William and Mary player during a Saturday game.

Thompson — who is only 6’4″– received a pass near the top of the key during the fast break. In one smooth motion he scooped up the pass, elevated and annihilated the William and Mary player foolish enough to jump with him. Equally impressive is the fact that Thompson was able to finish off the play while getting fouled.

In basketball there are two simple rules when it comes to trying to stop somebody from dunking: Either foul them so hard that they can’t even get off the ground; or just get out of the way. This William and Mary’s player chose the worst option possible: get put on a poster for the rest of your life.

Not smart, not smart at all.
