Ronda Rousey Addresses Her Shocking Defeat For First Time

Ronda Rousey opened up in an exclusive interview with ESPN about her feelings after Holly Holm shocked the world and gave Rousey her first career lost.

“I’m just really fucking sad,” Rousey told ESPN.

Rousey was knocked out by Holm during the UFC 193 fight from a kick to the head that was so violent and brutal Rousey claims, “It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.” (RELATED: Ronda Rousey Got Beat So Badly She’s Been Suspended)

She also addressed the fact that her critics would use her defeat to prove she was all hype. “That I’m a fucking failure and I deserve everything that I got,” Rousey told ESPN when discussing what she believes will be said about her.

“I need to come back. I need to beat this chick. Who knows if I’m going to pop my teeth out or break my jaw or rip my lip open. I have to fucking do it,” Rousey said.

Rousey even added that if she loses a rematch with Holm that she’ll be done “with everything” and it’ll be the end of her career as a fighter.
