Arnold Schwarzenegger pleaded with his Facebook followers Monday to take seriously the health hazards brought on by pollution, and the dangers fossil fuels present to the general population.

Schwarzenegger’s post, titled “I don’t give a **** if we agree about climate change,” lists several reasons why he believes his cadre of Facebook friends should shut their traps and look for solutions to anthropogenic warming, or man-made climate change.

“There are always a few of you, asking why we should care about the temperature rising, or questioning the science of climate change,” the actor writes. “I want you to know that I hear you,” Schwarzenegger added. “Even those of you who say renewable energy is a conspiracy. Even those who say climate change is a hoax. Even those of you who use four letter words.”

A long time champion of renewable energy and star of “Terminator” and “Kindergarten Cop,” Schwarzenegger couched his arguments around the health detriments resulting from the burning of fossil fuels.

“(Do) you believe it is acceptable that 7 million people die every year from pollution,” he asks his followers, referring to a World Health Organization study from September finding pollution killed millions of people in 2012.

That number eclipses murders and suicides combined, Schwarzenegger writes.

He adds: “Every day, 19,000 people die from pollution from fossil fuels. Do you accept those deaths? Do you accept that children all over the world have to grow up breathing with inhalers?”

While the winner of the 1969 Mister Universe contest made his support of renewable energy sources public, he made his ownership of an M47 Patton tank — powered by a Twin-turbo, fossil fuel-powered engine — less well-known. Schwarzenegger bought the tank in 1992, shortly after his standout role in “Terminator II.”

The actor’s foundation — Inner City Games Foundation — which he’s been involved with for some 20 years, uses tank rides as an incentive for people to donate to the charity. Last year in March, Schwarzenegger gave those who donated the most to charity-organizing website Omaze the opportunity to ride with him in his tank and crush things.

Still, the “Conan The Barbarian” actor has not let his 233-gallon-capacity P47 get in the way of his environmental activism.

Schwarzenegger ended his Facebook post with a question, asking his anti-renewable energy Facebook followers to consider shutting themselves in a room with a gasoline-fueled car, engine running at full-blast.

“There are two doors. Behind Door Number One is a completely sealed room, with a regular, gasoline-fueled car. Behind Door Number Two is an identical, completely sealed room, with an electric car. Both engines are running full blast,” he writes. He did not offer the P47 as an option in his scenario.

“I just hope that you’ll join me in opening Door Number Two, to a smarter, cleaner, healthier, more profitable energy future,” Schwarzenegger writes.
