Obama’s Approval Ratings Are Tanking Over Handling Of ISIS Threat [VIDEO]

According to the most recent NBC News/ Wall Street Journal poll, President Barack Obama’s poll numbers are tanking as Americans disapprove of his handling of ISIS and foreign policy.

The polling indicated that 57 percent of Americans disapprove of Obama’s handling of foreign policy and 60 percent disapprove Obama’s handling of ISIS. Thirty-seven percent approve of Obama’s handling of foreign policy and 34 percent approve of his handling of ISIS.

According to the same poll, national security/terrorism should be the top priority of the federal government say 40 percent of the nation, up 19 points from April.

Job creation/economic growth is only the top priority for 23 percent of Americans, down six points from April, so too is deficit/government spending now at 11 percent, down 6 from April.

Even Obama’s job approval numbers have taken a hit, down to the lowest levels in more than a year. Currently, Obama’s performance is approved by 43 percent of Americans, down from 46 in September while 51 percent disapprove compared to 47 percent in September.

The polling was conducted from Dec. 6-9 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

According to the AP/GFK poll released on Monday, 68 percent of Americans say that Obama has not clearly explained the goals in the fight against ISIS, while only 28 though he has. (RELATED: Obama Spends 27 Percent Of Speech Scolding Americans On Guns, Racism; 8 Percent On ISIS Threat)
