During Tuesday’s CNN moderated GOP debate, Republican front-runner again promised that he would not run on under a third party ticket should he not win the GOP nomination.
TRUMP: I’ve gained great respect for the Republican leadership. I’ve gained great respect for many — and I’m even going to say all in different forms. I have great respect for the people i have met in this process. I’ve never done this process before. I’ve never been a politician … but I will tell you, I am totally committed to the Republican Party. I feel very honored to be the front runner, and I think I I’ll do very well if I’m chosen if I’m so fortunate to be chosen. Polls have come out recently that say I will beat Hillary. I will do everything in my power to beat Hillary Clinton.
