David Spade thinks the Obama family has done too much reality television.

In early December, the comedian criticized Barack Obama after he appeared on Bear Grylls’s show, and during a recent interview, Spade said the family is clearly “thirsty” for attention.

“I criticized Obama because I thought a president should have a little more dignity,” Spade said. “What president is doing reality shows? It just sounds weird to me. It’s too much.” (RELATED: The Internet Wonders: Are The Obama Girls’ Skirts Too Short?)

“Michelle OBama is on ‘Ellen’ more than I am.”

“It’s just a new world,” Spade said. “I’m not used to it. It just seems a bit thirsty for me, that’s all. I think they’re going to do fine, but they’re plotting after the White House.”

He added that Obama should leave the GQ magazine covers to Bradley Cooper. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Malia, The Only Cool Obama, Plays Beer Pong During College Visit)
