Carolina Panthers superstar quarterback Cam Newton invited family members of a Charleston shooting victim to enjoy the Panthers’ final game of the season.

Sharonda Coleman-Singleton was one of nine people gunned down in cold blood by Dylann Roof in June. Newton invited her son Chris and his entire family to the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Chris and his family got to watch the Panthers absolutely destroy the Bucs by a score of 38-10, and seal up a first-round bye.

Newton has also proved that he’s much more than just a star quarterback, and has routinely gone out of his way to participate in the community. (VIDEO: NFL Star Is Busy Feeding Hungry Children For Thanksgiving Instead Of Listening To His Critics)
