Eli Manning fought back tears as his former coach Tom Coughlin announced his resignation from the New York Giants organization on Tuesday.
Coughlin resigned after failing to make the playoffs for the fourth straight season, but he praised his former quarterback before leaving.
“He is extremely bright. He is extremely competitive. He’s what you want a son to be made out of,” the two-time Super Bowl champion coach told the media. (RELATED: New York Giants Player’s Career Likely Over Due To Infection)
