President Barack Obama’s impending executive orders have shot panic into gun owners across the country, but a new video shows that there is at least one kind of gun control that the GOP can get behind.
Republicans have widely come out against Obama’s attempts to reach into gun shows and require background checks. Additionally, Republicans have raised alarm about new proposals to track firearm sales, especially given the fact that the administration has enlisted the DOD to help carry out the orders. GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz’s campaign site features President Obama done up in military garb alongside the text, “Obama wants your guns.”
Marco Rubio, another GOP candidate, said that Obama is “obsessed with undermining the Second Amendment.” Rubio also bashed the executive orders as unconstitutional.
The video, produced by Hot Shots TV and re-posted in light of Obama’s comments, shows gun control in pristine form.
