Ronda Rousey won’t be returning to fighting anytime soon according to UFC owner Dana White.

Rousey was slated to fight again at UFC in July, but her role in the upcoming “Roadhouse” remake appears to be what is causing her to delay a return to the fighting octagon. (RELATED: WATCH Ronda Rousey Get Knocked Out At UFC 193 [VIDEO])

“The filming of the movie got pushed back She could do both, but the question is, should she do both? She could do both, but why should she? The filming is in a time frame where she’d finish before 200, but it would be cutting it too close,” White told Yahoo.

White had been hyping a rematch between Holly Holm after Holm knocked Rousey out at UFC 193, but White doesn’t mind Rousey taking more time off than originally anticipated. (RELATED: This Sexy Photo Of Ronda Rousey Is Going To Break The Internet)

“What that woman has done is above and beyond what anyone has done,” he said. “I mean, it’s just unbelievable what she’s done in the last three years. Anything we needed, she didn’t say no to anything; said no to nothing. She even took over responsibilities somebody else was supposed to have. So when she tells me she wants more time, you know what? She’s got it.”

Rousey will certainly return to fighting eventually, but there’s no doubt that she has taken her loss to Holly Holm extremely hard. Shortly after the defeat she simply said, “I’m just really fucking sad.” (RELATED: Ronda Rousey Addresses Her Shocking Defeat For First Time)
