NBC’s Chuck Todd says that Hillary Clinton was “wrapping herself in president Obama tonight” during the Democratic debate.
In the aftermath of the NBC/YouTube debate on Sunday, Todd said, “We were looking at it.There is instance after instance, where it’s like, ‘I plan on building upon what President Obama did,’ It was Dodd/Frank, it was healthcare, and it was clearly designed to say, ‘Bernie Sanders, he’s not wrapping himself in Obama.'” (RELATED: Hillary: My Relationship With Putin Is One Of Respect [VIDEO])
Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post said, “[I]t was very much her [Clinton] counterpunching against the Sanders thesis basically. That what we need is revolutionary change. She’s not about revolutionary change. He’s about evolutionary change, incremental change.”
“Sometimes people wrapping themselves in the flag. Hillary Clinton was wrapping herself in president Obama tonight.
