Judge Andrew Napolitano slammed Secretary of Defense Ash Carter insisting the possibility of retroactively demoting General David Petraeus is “politically motivated.”
Appearing on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends” on Thursday, Napolitano questioned the motivation behind a possible retroactive demotion saying, “Is this political? Is this to send him a message? ‘Don’t tell everybody what you know about Benghazi because we’ll keep coming after you.'” (RELATED: Report: Pentagon Might Demote Retired General David Petraeus)

“This is politically motivated, and quite frankly, I wish the secretary of defense would leave him [Petraeus] alone,” insisted Napolitano.
