Tuesday marks the 18-year anniversary of former President Bill Clinton denying his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

On January 26, 1998 Clinton infamously stated, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false.”

It's officially been 18 years since Bill Clinton told one of history's biggest whoppers.

It was later found that Clinton and Lewinsky were engaged in an affair. Clinton was impeached and subsequently acquitted on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.

Hillary Clinton, a Democratic front-runner in the presidential race, is still married to husband Bill Clinton.

Since the affair became public, Lewinsky stated she was “troubled” by Hillary’s “impulse to blame the woman.”
