Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump whipped out the family Bible in a last minute appeal to Iowa evangelicals Saturday.

In a video posted to Facebook, Trump showed off a Bible his mother gave him “many years ago.” The video is a clear attempt to appeal to Iowa evangelicals, a coveted voted bloc in the state’s caucuses, which will be held Monday.

“I really appreciate the support given to me by the evangelicals,” Trump says in the video. “They’ve been incredible. Every poll says how well I am doing with them, and you know, my mother gave me this Bible, this very Bible, many years ago.”

Trump holds up a bible and says his mother wrote his name and address in the front.

“Again I want to thank the evangelicals,” Trump says. “I will never let you down.”

The message was already approaching 50,000 likes about five hours after it was posted.
