The Los Angeles Lakers signed Yitzi Teichman, an 18-year-old who is battling brain cancer, to a one-day contract on Sunday.

Teichman had a brain tumor removed in 2015 and is still fighting cancer according to SB Nation. His wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation was to join the Lakers, and the Lakers management was happy to add him to the roster for a day.
