O.J. Simpson told Kris Jenner he didn’t do it in the weeks leading up to his wife’s murder trial.
Jenner had been close friends with the Simpsons, and famously wore Nicole Brown Simpson’s old maternity clothes to court. She was interviewed by “Good Morning America” in 1995, a week before O.J.’s verdict was decided.
“I’ve talked to him a few times,” Jenner said. “He called me from jail. He wanted to talk to me. I’ve known him for 20 years.”
“He said, ‘I didn’t do it.'”
Jenner added that the defense was “unprompted.”
“I asked a lot of questions,” she added. “It was so early on [in the case] and I just listened to him and I think he listened to me because I think there was a fondness we had for each other. We were friends.”
