Rick Santorum did [crscore]Marco Rubio[/crscore] no favors Thursday morning when he appeared on Morning Joe and said the Florida senator has had no accomplishments.

“The bottom line is there isn’t a whole lot of accomplishments,” said the former Pennsylvania senator. Santorum dropped out of the race for the Republican nomination Wednesday afternoon and announced his endorsement of Rubio. (RELATED: Rick Santorum Drops Out, Endorses Marco Rubio)

Santorum was upset by host Joe Scarborough’s line of questioning calling it unfair. Scarborough had asked, “List one accomplishment that Marco Rubio has achieved in four years in the United States Senate. It doesn’t even have to be a passed bill.”

Rubio has drawn criticism from opponents throughout the election cycle for his attendance record in the Senate and overall lack of a record. Rubio himself said in October that he was “frustrated.” He is not running for re-election in the Senate.

Only one bill sponsored by Rubio has been enacted into law — the “Girls Count Act of 2015.”
