Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was a sore loser in his post-game press conference and cut it short after only being available to the media for a little over two minutes.

The NFL MVP gave mostly one word replies to why the Panthers had absolutely no answer to the Broncos suffocating defense. However, instead of being humble in defeat Newton decided to take a subtle shot at the Broncos implying that perhaps they weren’t the better team. “They made more plays than us. That’s what it comes down to. We had our opportunities. It wasn’t nothing special that they did. We dropped balls, we turned the ball over, gave up sacks, errant passes. That’s it. They scored more points than us,” Newton said.

Newton had enough and exited the press conference when he was asked why he didn’t dive for a loose fumble. (RELATED: Celebrate The NFL Playoffs With The Hottest Wives And Girlfriends Of NFL Players [SLIDESHOW])

Late in the game Newton was stripped while throwing a pass and he didn’t even attempt to get on the ground to recover the ball. The Broncos recovery essentially put the final nail in Carolina’s coffin.

Newton finished the game with an abysmal performance after completing only 18 passes in 41 attempts.
